The KET exam enables candidates to test their capacities in English as a Foreign Language at the A2 level of the Council of Europe Frame of Reference. This English certificate shows that the participant can grasp the meaning of texts at a limited level and can communicate in English in simple situations of everyday life.
You can expect people having an A2 level in English to use simple expressions and sentences, to be able to introduce themselves, to have the ability to exchange some words with people speaking English slowly and clearly, and to have the capacity to write some small notes and simple texts.
