Cambridge - Preliminary English Test (PET)

The PET exam puts its participants in real life situations. It requires them to be able to read and grasp the meaning of newspaper articles in English, to be capable of writing letters describing situations and activities, as well as taking simple notes in meetings.

After having prepared for this exam, students are able to follow directions, to cope with being alone in an English-speaking country as a tourist, to ask simple questions and to take part in basic professional conversations.
