Founded in 2003, the Castle School of English has two buildings in Brighton, one is mostly used for administration purposes, and the other is used exclusively for courses. The school is located directly between the two buildings, and allows for easy access to the Royal Pavillon and to many other touristic sites in and around Brighton. The beach is just a few minutes away, and all means of public transportation are easily accessible around the school. Thus, its location is absolutely ideal!

Lodging

The Castle School in Brighton offers different types of accommodations. Students can live with host families, which can either include half-board, full board or self catering. The schools have also developed many partnerships with hotels, bed & breakfasts and guest houses in Brighton, which gives students a large variety of lodging possibilites. Finally, the school's team can also help you find apartments to rent if you're staying for a long-term English course.

Academics

The types of courses offered by the Castle School of English in Brighton are very vast. Obviously, the participants can choose to take general English classes, but as opposed to the usual schools, at the Castle School it is possible to take those classes not only in the morning but also in the afternoon or in the evening. This enables a better organization of the student's schedule.

The school also offers perparation classes for Cambridge First, Advanced and IELTS exams, as well as intensive and semi-intensive classes. It all depends on the needs of the student, and the goals he or she wants to achieve.

It is also possible to take classes that are specialized in International Tourism or classes focused on conversation and discussion. And finally, students with very specific needs can take one-to-one classes, where the professor taylors the course depending on the needs and desires of the student.

Activities

The school offers a wide range of activities. Students can take part in a movie night, or have a guided tour of the Royal Pavillon. A wide variety of sports and other activities are available for small additional fees. During the weekends, the school also offers trips to London, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge or even to Edinburgh, for additional costs.
